Welcome to ZWAP — I’m so glad you’re here. 💖

My name is Linda, and this community was born from one of the most challenging seasons of my life. A few years ago, my husband and I, along with my two beautiful children, moved from sunny California to even sunnier Arizona. ☀️ After several years working a secular job, I became a stay-at-home mom, and while that role fills my heart, life took a sudden turn when my husband was diagnosed with lymphoma shortly after we married.

Overnight, I became not just a mother but a caregiver, support system, and emotional rock for my family. 💪 And while love held us together, financial challenges grew. I began wondering: How can I support my family when my full-time job is loving and caring for them?

In those quiet, sleepless nights, I looked around at all the gently used shoes, clothes, books, and supplies we had—and I wondered: What if I could trade these with other families going through tough times, too? What if we could help one another through simple swaps, rather than always buying new?

That’s when ZWAP was born. A place where families and individuals could buy, trade, or barter everyday items in good condition. A space rooted in community, dignity, and generosity. With the help of my family and dear friends, I brought this dream to life. 💞
